- Remove from oven on to cooling rack for 5 minutes.
- Remove pan and cool on rack for 1 hour. (Hardest part!)
- Caramel can be added after the bread has been removed from pan.
In another bowl, combine the eggs, bananas, oil, buttermilk and vanilla; add to flour mixture, stirring just until combined. If desired, sprinkle with additional walnuts. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. In a medium bowl, whisk together banana, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla. Fold banana mixture into flour mixture until just combined.
