- Separate the yolks from the egg whites.
- Add salt to the egg whites. Beat until peaks are formed.

- Place 2 mounds of egg whites unto the baking sheet. Create a dip in the middle (to place the yolk in later).
- Bake: Place in the 450°F (230°C) oven for 6 minutes. (or until egg whites arr slightly browned on top)
- Pull out the rack and place egg yolks in the dip created earlier. Bake for 3 more minutes.
- At the same time, toast the bread slices.
- Place the cloud eggs on top of toasted bread. Top with ground pepper (or even herbs) as desired. Enjoy!
