- Get 5 cups idli rice
- Take 1 cup black rice

- Wash the idli rice,black rice,urad dal and fenugreek each one separately
- Soak in water for 6 hours each one separately
- Drain off the water and transfer to grinder
- Grind the soaked idli rice and black rice with 1 cup of water.(add water as required if batter is too thick).transfer the ground rice batter into the container.
- And Grind the urad dal,fenugreek seeds with 1 cup of water.let the urad dal grind until smooth and fluffy(add water as required if batter is too thick)
- Mix the rice and urad dal batter together add salt and mix it well, cover and keep it overnight or 10 hours.
- The batter will be ready in the morning to prepare idli and dosa.
- Heat the water in the idli pot and apply oil in idli plate, pour the batter on the idli plate.place the idli plates in idly pot cover the lid steam for 15 to 20 minutes in medium flame.
- After 20 min,let it cool and remove the idli with help of flat spoon healthy and soft black rice idly ready
- Lets make dosa with same batter add little water in batter,heat the tawa pour the batter make it a dosa spread ghee or oil cook for 2 min crispy black rice dosa ready.
