  1. Get 1 kg Lauki (bottle gourd)
  2. Make ready 1 cup milk
  3. Get 1 cup sugar

  5. Prepare 2 tbsp ghee

  7. Get 10 almonds
  8. Get 1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
  9. Prepare 1 pinch green food colour
Instructions to make Lauki Halwa:
  1. Take lauki wash and remove peel. Grate lauki leaving the seed part. Use only pulp.
  2. In a pan add ghee and add grated lauki stir and cook on low-medium flame for 5-6 mins.
  3. Then add milk and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Add sugar and cook it for 5 minutes.
  5. Then add cardamon powder, green food colour mix it well.
  6. Add milk powder and mix gradually. Keep low flame. Cook halwa for 2- 3 minutes. Juice from halwa dries up.
  7. Add dry fruits mix well. Take out the halwa in a bowl. Garnish with dry fruits. And its ready to serve.
